Product Description
Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose simplified as HPMC. HPMC is a natural polymer material as raw materials, through a series of chemical processing and prepared nonionic cellulose mixed ethers. It is a semi-synthetic, inactive, viscoelastic polymer with high water retention, dispersion, excellent fineness, good processing ability, and operational solubility HPMC is widely used in building materials, ceramic extrusions, personal-care products and many other fields.
Dissolved in water and some organic solvent such as ethanol. propyl alcohol. ethylene chloride, the water solution is of surface activity. It is a nonionic surface active agent. Gelation temperature is different for different grades. For example, among 60 Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, 60 is gelation temperature, Namely, 2% water solution will form gelation at 60%.

Hecocell® advantages
Hecocell® cellulose ethers impart the following excellent properties to the ready -mixed mortar;
Good water retention;
Avoid quick water-loss during the drying of constructions, enhance water retention, ensure sufficient hydration time for cement-based, lime-based and gypsum-based materials;
Good workability;
Good spraying and pumping performance;
Optimized wetting ability to the substrate;
Improves workability and processing effect of cement-based and ceramic-based extrusions by its lubrication;
Cement hydration is more complete for better bond strength and structure;
Long adjusting open time;
Esistance to dry shrinkage.
